In high school, my design was chosen as the invitation, sent by the Head of School, for our Junior Ring Ceremony.

The “College Sweatshirt Picture” is one of the most anticipated traditions for Seniors at Oak Knoll. Although COVID prevented us from taking the picture, I ensured the logo from each Senior’s college commitment was on our website to celebrate each student’s college acceptance.
As part of my Senior Capstone, I created Instagram stories to engage viewers at a time when we were unable to interact in person. The content I created allowed users to participate and have fun, as well as earn school spirit points!

Due to COVID, Oak Knoll was unable to hold the induction ceremony for the Cum Laude Society. The Instagram story I created allowed each inductee an opportunity to be recognized for their academic achievement.

As part of my Senior Capstone, I created a Snapchat filter that was used for the “Class of 2020 Drive-through Graduation.” Although far from a traditional Oak Knoll graduation, this filter provided a timestamp for the pictures taken that day, and it will always remind the Oak Knoll School Class of 2020 of our unique experience!
To celebrate the achievements of our Senior class, I created an Instagram page and highlighted each of my classmates’ accomplishments. In addition to information being shared with Oak Knoll followers, information could be reposted, so students could share their accolades with family and friends. Although COVID was the catalyst for this page, it has been continued by subsequent grades, which shows opportunity can come from adversity!
